Peeks is a daily logic puzzle. Every letter appears exactly once in each row
and column, some cells stay empty, and the clues around the edge tell you the
first letter you would see if you peeked along that row or column from
there — looking straight past the empty cells.
Common questions
How do I play?
Tap a cell, then tap a letter to place it. Tap × to
mark a cell you have worked out must be empty. Each letter appears once per row
and once per column, and every row and column has exactly as many empty cells
as it needs. A clue outside the grid names the first letter visible from that
edge — empty cells are see-through, so the clue can point at a letter
several cells in. The in-app walkthrough on the home screen teaches the whole
thing in about a minute.
What is the daily puzzle?
Everyone gets the same four puzzles each day — Easy, Medium, Hard and
Expert — generated from the date itself. Solving the day’s puzzle
extends your streak. Puzzles are created on your device, so they work with no
connection at all.
Is every puzzle solvable without guessing?
Yes. Every puzzle is checked at generation time to have exactly one
solution, and is graded by how much reasoning it actually takes, so Easy stays
easy and Expert genuinely earns the name. You never need to guess.
How do hints work?
A hint spotlights a cell that can be worked out right now from what is
already on the board — it points you at the reasoning rather than filling
the answer in. Free players get one hint per puzzle, and can buy more. Peeks
Pro includes unlimited hints on Extra Peeks and three a day on the daily
puzzles, so the daily stays a fair contest for everyone.

Progress is stored on your device only. Deleting the app, or resetting
progress in Settings, erases it permanently and it cannot be recovered.
I bought Peeks Pro but it is not unlocked.
Open Settings › Restore purchases, and make sure you are signed in
with the same Apple Account you bought it with. Peeks Pro is a one-time
purchase, not a subscription, and it restores free on any device using that
Apple Account.
Does Peeks work offline?
Entirely. Puzzles are generated on device. The only time Peeks talks to
the network is when you make or restore a purchase, which is handled by
Apple.
Accessibility
Peeks supports VoiceOver throughout, follows Reduce Motion, and works in
light and dark mode. Because the letters are letters, the board never relies on
colour alone to be readable.
