Rota

Alarm groups that switch as a set. Support & help.

Rota is an alarm clock built around alarm groups. Turning one group on turns every other group off, so you can swap a whole routine — weekdays, early shift, weekend — with a single toggle.

Common questions

How do groups work?
Create a group, give it repeat days, and add alarms to it. Only one group can be active at a time: switching one on automatically switches the others off.
Why does Rota ask for alarm permission?
Rota schedules real system alarms so they ring full screen over the Lock Screen, even in silent mode. iOS requires your permission for that.
My alarm didn't ring.
Check that both the alarm and its group are switched on, and that alarm permission is granted in Settings › Rota. Only one group can be active at a time, so enabling a different group will have switched the previous one off.
How does snooze work?
Snoozing starts a nine-minute countdown, shown live on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Opening Rota shows the same countdown, with a button to end the snooze without disabling the alarm itself.
What does Rota require?
iOS 26 or later, which is where the system alarm features Rota is built on were introduced.
